The Montreal special effects sector has become a key component of the world of the cinema industry. Big Hollywood productions will draw from Montreal the best concepts and techniques of special effects and thus benefit the best daring visual finish on the market. At the heart of this success, owner of a unique know -how and complex creative process of development. Emilie Dussault, CEO of MPC Montreal , will share the realities of this growing industry , and the key to successful management of their creative processes.
Biography
Emilie Dussault joined MPC in May 2013 as Executive Director of the new Montreal studio . She assured its presence and growth , and is responsible for its operational management. Before joining MPC.
Emilie was responsible Vice President of Operations at Oblique FX . Previously, she held the position of Director of Marketing and Business Development at Mokko. She holds a bachelor’s degree in film production from Concordia University and holds a Master of Science in Management from HEC Montreal. She is also the author of the book ” Selecting a feature film project : study on the determinants of the decision”.
