SUMMARY :

At Cirque du Soleil, artists are the undeniable force behind the company’s success. The recruitment of talent from a multitude of different disciplines is an ongoing challenge for the CDS. Come and discover during this 5@8 the role of a talent scout within the CDS casting team. How do you cultivate a talent pool? How do you support the development of a talent? How can innovation in recruitment practices bring about innovation in people and in organizations

BIOGRAPHY :

Originally from Brazil, André has played and recorded with various Quebec and Brazilian artists. He eventually co-founded the group Gaia, with whom he recorded three albums and was nominated for a Juno. André toured with Cirque du Soleil’s Delirium in 2006, after which he produced and directed various music albums, in addition to composing for documentaries and web series. He became an Artistic Scout for Cirque du Soleil Casting in 2008, and since 2011 has assumed the role of Head Talent Scout, allowing him to gain more experience in management, accounting and business strategies.
