Summer School on Management of Creativity in an Innovation Society
Since 2009, the Summer School on Management of Creativity in an Innovation Society has trained over 1,100 participants from 49 countries, establishing itself as a leading international program in creativity and innovation management. The program immerses participants in three innovation ecosystems, bringing together professionals, academics, and students to explore and compare best practices in creativity. Public and private organizations propose challenges that provide an opportunity to experiment with innovation strategies.
The International Network of Mosaic’s Creativity and Innovation Schools
The 18th edition of the Summer School on Management of Creativity in an Innovation Society will take place from June 22 to July 10, 2026. This 15-day program offers an immersive experience in Montreal, Nantes, and Barcelona. Participants explore creativity, innovation, and collaborative practices through workshops, company visits, and interdisciplinary exchanges.
The University of Barcelona, UB Business School, and the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation coordinate the Barcelona segment of the Summer School.
The BETA Laboratory of the University of Strasbourg has coordinated the Autumn School since 2010.
The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre coordinates the InMuse Creative Week.
The Nantes part of the SUmmer School is coordinated by IAE Nantes, Nantes Université, and Nantes Métropole.
Toyo University (Tokyo) coordinates the Creative Week in Tokyo.
Several academic institutions around the world have been inspired by the collective and innovative learning model of the Summer School to launch their own schools in partnership with Mosaic.
Launched in 2016, the International Network of Creativity and Innovation Schools unites initiatives led by individuals who experienced the Summer School firsthand and adopted its collaborative learning approach. In addition to organizing the Summer School, Mosaic supports other schools by sharing content, expertise, and practices. Mosaic professor, as well as professionals from Montreal, regularly participate, thereby strengthening Mosaic’s international reach.
Each school develops its own unique expression of creativity, shaped by its research, local ecosystem, and cultural identity. However, they all share the same philosophy of pooling their expertise, perspectives, and practices to enrich the teaching of creativity and innovation management.
This collaborative dynamic allows each school to maintain its uniqueness while contributing to an active international network. In this network, the most effective methods are shared, and each ecosystem is inspired by the experiences of others to innovate.
