Biographie:

Enric Ruiz-Geli is the founder, principal architect and director of Cloud 9 studio. Cloud 9’s agenda is to look at PILOT Projects in global warming scenarios. Enric Ruiz-Geli is the architect of the VillaNurbs in Empuriabrava, an organically formed, ecological and futuristic house; the Millennium Project in Valladolid, an urban retrofitting; the el Bulli Foundation, for the chef Ferran Adrià, a living laboratory in Cap de Creus; and the Media-ICT building located in the 22@ district in Barcelona, a Net Zero Building with a very competitive cost of construction, awarded as Best Building of the World by the World Architecture Festival (WAF 2011). Enric Ruiz-Geli is also the architect of H108 Project in Taipei, which obtained a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for a new construction in 2014.

Enric Ruiz-Geli has lectured and collaborates with a map of labs such as Angewandte, AA, UCLA, Art Center in Pasadena, CITA, RMIT, MIT, Bartlett School of Architecture in London, ETHZ, and the IE School of Architecture, among others. Enric Ruiz-Geli is also part of the design team led by Jeremy Rifkin aimed at developing the TIR (Third Industrial Revolution) in cities.

Enric Ruiz-Geli is a regular speaker during the Barcelona week of the Summer School on Management of Creativity and Innovation.
