Mantautas Krukauskas is a composer and sound artist, and Associate professor at the Department of Composition of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius, where he is also a co-founder and Head (since 2016) of Music Innovation Studies Centre, an academic lab for studies, art and research, with a focus on music technology, innovation in music and music education, interactive arts, immersive media, and interdisciplinarity. His compositions, which include chamber music, sound art, music for theatre and dance productions have been performed in Lithuania, Austria, Germany, France, Canada, USA, and other countries. His professional profile also includes electronic music performance and work with music production and arrangement within the creative industries sphere.

He is a Mosaic Research Associate and alumnus of the 2011 Summer School.  He is a regular speaker at the Montreal-Barcelona Summer School and has launched a School of Creativity in Vilnius in 2020 in collaboration with Mosaic.
