Conference summary:

‘Scaling Innovation: Conversations and Ecosystems’

Innovation flows not just from collaboration between government, industry and academia but a wide range of other ecosystem enablers. What role do startups play in today’s innovation ecosystems? What are the cross-border opportunities and challenges for emerging innovators as they go global?

The other part of the equation is innovation within organisations. Much has been said about capacity and culture – but the art and craft of structured conversations also has a catalytic role here. Formal and informal conversations help spot what’s new, identify opportunities for innovation, and scale up such ideas and ventures.

This keynote will address fascinating trends and opportunities emerging in intra- and inter-organisational innovation, the power of conversations, and the synergy of ecosystems. Examples will be drawn from around the world, with a particular focus on emerging economies.
